Reaffirming Ethics and Professionalism in the French Public Service

Abstract:
Legislative, executive, and judicial authorities all have a role to play in reaffirming public service values. This paper outlines the values and ethical standards expected of public servants in France, and discusses some of the mechanisms through which their attainment is facilitated.
